About EUCARPIA 18th General Congress

On behalf of EUCARPIA, the International Scientific Committee cordially invites you to the 18th EUCARPIA General Congress "Modern Variety Breeding for Present and Future Needs ". The final aim of breeders is to develop new improved varieties. Consequently, the congress aims to review state-of-the-art methodologies and techniques for breeding new varieties with a focus on the present and foreseeable needs.
The 18th EUCARPIA General Congress will be held in Valencia, Spain, from 9 to 12 September, 2008. The Congress will take place at the Congress Hall (6G Buiding) of the Universidad Politecnica de Valencia, which is located in the Northeastern part of the city of Valencia.

We invite researchers, scientists, breeders, and specialists involved or interested in the broad field of plant breeding to attend the 18th EUCARPIA General Congress.
