The European Central Cucurbits database is being developed at the
COMAV, Spain, on the initiative of the European Cooperative Programme
for Crop Genetic Resources Networks(ECP/GR). The database now contains
passport information on 23836 accesions of several cucurbits species.
The database will be extended to include passport, characterization
and evaluation data of more than 25000 accesions belonging to most
important collections in Europe. The database is being developed
following the IPGRI/FAO Multicrop Passport Descriptors List.
